About the Role

This is a Precontracts role that will cross over into Delivery, for a seasoned Project Manager or Senior PE from a mid-tier background / Tier 2 background.

You will help lead and coordinate key bids, managing the tender process with a small team. You will also have the opportunity to deliver and manage a team on the projects you have helped to secure.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Bid Management process in conjunction with the wider Precontracts team.
  • Understand the tender documents and evaluation criteria, to ensure that resources are allocated to meet the requirements.
  • Assign tender responsibilities and ensure that the team is accountable for their tasks.
  • Develop efficient methodologies and drive value management solutions to achieve a winning tender strategy.
  • Manage and support the post-tender negotiation process, working closely with our clients.
  • In the delivery phase, manage site safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
  • Maximize profitability while ensuring projects are delivered safely and on time.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.
  • A minimum of 7+ years' experience in construction cost planning, tendering, or project delivery working on diverse tenders/projects across Civil & Infrastructure Projects.
  • Multi-disciplinary estimating experience on projects in excess of $10 million.
  • Ability to lead a tender and work on multiple tenders concurrently.
  • Experience with Expert Estimation software is an advantage.
