Job Title: Receptionist

**About the Role**

Our organisation is seeking a part-time Rehoming Receptionist to join our Willawong Rehoming Centre for 4-5 days a week. The successful candidate will support the Rehoming team in providing exceptional customer service and care to our customers and their animals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls with professionalism and accurate information.
  • Transfer calls to relevant departments.
  • Provide face-to-face customer service and facilitate appointment setting.
  • Facilitate animal impounding and reclaiming.
  • Reconcile register balances at end of each day.
  • Assist with preparing invoices and documentation, as well as document management.
  • Replace merchandise in the Rehoming store.
  • Complete general administrative duties.
  • Ensure reception area cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Comply with OH&S guidelines for personal care.
  • Address issues and resolve conflicts with high degree of customer support.

Requirements

  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Strong experience in high-volume customer service environment.
  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience in administrative and reception roles.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite and IT systems ability.
  • Weekend shifts required.
  • Experience with Local Governments, particularly council local laws - desirable.
  • Police clearance check.
