The Role |

The company is on the lookout for a skilled Product Developer with a focus on footwear to enhance its dynamic team. In the capacity of Product Developer - Footwear, the chosen candidate will be instrumental in defining the footwear collections, managing every phase from initial idea to final production. Collaborating closely with the creative team, they will aid in the development of unique and timeless products that align with the ready-to-wear offerings.

Daily responsibilities will include:

Working in close partnership with designers to uphold the highest quality standards for all footwear items Overseeing the complete design process, from the first concept to the final product, while meeting strict deadlines Producing detailed illustrations and technical drawings for review and presentation Collaborating with the design team to realize their creative visions Maintaining communication with manufacturing partners to ensure smooth production timelines Conducting fittings and providing feedback to suppliers to guarantee optimal fit and finish Partnering with Creative Directors to select materials and colors for final products Managing production timelines and providing regular updates on progress Cultivating strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure timely deliveries Coordinating logistics and inspecting product quality upon arrival

The Skills |

A degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline Demonstrated experience in product development or design within the footwear sector Comprehensive knowledge of materials, construction methods, and manufacturing processes Adaptability and flexibility to changing work demands Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
