Underground Mining Operations Director

We are seeking a seasoned Underground Production Manager to oversee our tunnel development projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-speed single heading development environments and the ability to train workforces effectively.

Job Description:

To promote and enforce client health and safety policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure quality and productivity targets are achieved by directing work efficiently. Coordinate activities of supervisors, non-staff workforce, and client engineering teams to meet production, safety, and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Mining Engineer
- Minimum 15 years' experience in underground mining production including leadership roles.
- Experience in high-speed single heading development environments and training workforces within an underground environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to analyze multifaceted situations and determine safe and productive methods for completion of work.

Benefits:
