Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

This is a challenging opportunity to drive meaningful change in the supply chain operations of a growing organization. As a Supply Chain Optimization Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping and optimizing supply chain workflows for high-demand bakery items.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Improvement & Innovation: Evaluate current supply chain workflows and propose strategic revisions to enhance efficiency. Implement Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory practices for high-demand bakery items and recommend innovative solutions to streamline operations.
  • Inventory Management & Reporting: Conduct comprehensive inventory audits to monitor stock levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods. Generate detailed reports on stock movements and identify discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Create contingency plans for critical scenarios and monitor external factors that could affect ingredient availability or costs.
  • Implementation Support: Partner with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to execute approved process improvements and provide training and documentation to staff on new systems or workflows.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management. Proven experience in cost-saving initiatives and contract negotiation is essential. The candidate must also have strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and communication skills.
