Job Title:Software Asset Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Asset Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT Asset Management team, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of software and services critical to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes that automate software discovery and license management via ServiceNow SAM module and integrate with CMDB.
  • Perform regular software audits to ensure adherence to supplier license usage terms.
  • Maintain governance over all software license management processes.
  • Manage external software license compliance audits and provide expert advice on best practices to ensure compliance across diverse products and license models.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to drive outcomes and optimize our license compliance posture.
  • Provide expertise in software acquisition and negotiation with software suppliers and managed service providers.
  • Research and evaluate new methods, policies, and technologies to improve software license management processes.
  • Execute on multiple technology contracts in line with stakeholder due diligence reviews.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in software asset management and license compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of software licensing and contractual terms.
  • Experience working with ITSM tools and CMDB (ServiceNow).
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial analysis skills.
  • Broad knowledge of technology concepts and software vendors' license requirements.
