Job Description

As a senior applications engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering technical product application support to customers and the sales team. This role reports into the engineering manager and is responsible for providing broader engineering assistance across the business.

In this position, you will contribute to product development, process involvement, and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to product application inquiries
  • Providing tailored engineering solutions and product recommendations
  • Delivering analytical and technical support both internally and externally
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement

You will work closely with various departments, including technical support, application engineering, design, documentation, and data analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Engineering degree or similar trade experience - Mechanical
  • Proven experience in an applications engineering role (mechanical ideal)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis capabilities
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, 3D modeling
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and VBA
  • Ability to travel regularly within NSW and interstate
