About the Role

We seek a Senior Application Engineer (Salesforce) to develop, maintain, and enhance our Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud platforms. The role involves integrating these systems with our Student Management System (Banner) using Informatica, among other internal systems. You should have solid Salesforce development experience, a strong understanding of CRM and marketing automation, and be comfortable with hands-on coding, system configuration, and troubleshooting. You will work closely with various teams to deliver high-quality solutions supporting organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Salesforce Development and Integration: Lead the development and customization of Salesforce solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
  2. System Configuration and Maintenance: Oversee configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Salesforce systems.
  3. Technical Support: Provide expertise and support for Salesforce projects, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues.
  4. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
  5. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of development activities and system configurations.
  6. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Develop and deliver training to enhance user proficiency.
  7. Strategic Planning: Contribute to IT roadmap development aligned with organizational goals.
Candidate Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computing, or related fields.
  • 5+ years experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I & II, Marketing Cloud Developer preferred.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD tools is a plus.
  • Awareness of Salesforce AI capabilities is advantageous.
