About the Role

BaptistCare Caloola Centre is seeking a skilled Cook to join our dedicated kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our valued residents.

This is a permanent part-time position, working 66.5 hours per fortnight. You will be required to work am and pm shifts, including cooking to a rotating menu and preparing meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver nutritious meals to our residents, ensuring a high standard of food and service.
  • Develop and implement menus, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Supervise kitchen staff to ensure correct procedures and kitchen practices meet BaptistCare's HACCP Food Safety Plan standards.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen.
  • Working knowledge of Food Safety Guidelines (HACCP).
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality.
  • Ability to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check or provide current NDIS Worker screening clearance.
