Earthmoving Diesel Fitter Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Earthmoving Field Service Diesel Fitter to join our team. As a key member of our Field Service team, you will be responsible for performing breakdown and repair work on various earthmoving equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostics and component rebuilds, with proficiency in using various tools and equipment relevant to diesel fitting. A sound understanding of SIS, OEM software, workshop manuals, and technical specifications is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform breakdown and repair work on earthmoving equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks
  • Conduct inspections to identify issues and assess repair requirements
  • Repair and replace damaged components, ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition

You will work closely with the Service Operations Manager and other team members to troubleshoot complex problems and find effective solutions. A proactive approach to addressing equipment issues and excellent communication skills are highly valued.

Requirements:

  • Diesel Fitting Trade Qualification
  • Proven experience as an Earthmoving Diesel Fitter, with a strong background in diagnostics and component rebuilds
  • MR Truck License is ideal but not essential for this role
