Compliance Manager Job Description

This is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

  • The Compliance Manager will oversee the development and implementation of our compliance program, including policies, procedures, and training initiatives.

  • They will conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and identify areas for improvement.

  • The Compliance Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to provide guidance and support on compliance matters, as well as coordinate with external auditors and regulators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining our compliance program, including policies, procedures, and training initiatives.

  • Conducting regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and identify areas for improvement.

  • Providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders on compliance matters, as well as coordinating with external auditors and regulators.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a compliance or regulatory role, preferably in the finance or insurance sector.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, including financial services legislation and codes of practice.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Ability to analyze complex information and develop effective solutions to compliance issues.
