Job Description:

A Pipe System Specialist is responsible for planning, installing and maintaining plumbing systems in buildings. The role involves laying out, fabricating, assembling, and testing of pipe sections, tubings, and fittings to ensure a safe and efficient water supply system.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be physically fit, and have the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lay out, measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or machines.
  • Assemble pipe sections, tubings, and fittings to create a secure and leak-free system.
  • Inspect pipes and connections for damage or leaks.
  • Test pipes to ensure they are working correctly.
  • Maintain records of all work performed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time.
  • Familiarize yourself with local building codes and regulations.
  • Identify potential hazards and take necessary precautions to prevent accidents.
