Expertise in overseeing the design, compliance, and delivery of mechanical and piping systems for tailings infrastructure is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that design standards are met and project regulations are complied with.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables and plans to guarantee their quality and accuracy.
- Contribute to contract scope development and technical evaluations to identify potential issues.
- Monitor progress, cost, and change control to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and suppliers to ensure effective collaboration and issue resolution.
- Promote a culture of safety and technical excellence within teams.
- Oversee audits and hazard reviews to prevent potential risks and hazards.
- Hold an engineering degree in mechanical or a related field.
- Have extensive experience in piping and mechanical systems, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
- Possess a strong understanding of design standards, HSE regulations, and project execution principles.
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex engineering packages.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
