Senior Android Engineer

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to lead the development of our Android application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software design, development, and testing.


The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining new features for our Android application. They will work closely with other engineers to define and improve the architecture of our application, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and easy to reason about.


The role requires a versatile individual who can tackle problems across the full stack, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with other teams as needed.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
  • 3+ years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1+ year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience building Android software products.

Preferred qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with Kotlin/Java.
  • Experience with technical leadership.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
