Turbine Maintenance Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Wind Turbine Technician. The role encompasses the installation, mechanical and electrical completions, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wind turbines at a wind farm site.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Responsibilities- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on wind turbine components
- Perform maintenance on turbine blades, gearboxes, generators, and other key systems
- Document all work completed and maintain detailed records of turbine performance
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Provide technical support and mentoring to less experienced team members as required
- A Grade Electrical Licence – mandatory
- Proven experience as a Wind Turbine Technician, preferably in a fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) or drive-in, drive-out (DIDO) role
- Strong understanding of wind turbine systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work safely at heights and in remote locations
- Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules to meet the needs of the business
