Job Title

Sustainability and Environmental Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of the Sustainability and Environmental management framework.

  • Lead the identification and integration of sustainability, climate related and environmental risks and opportunities into business strategy and governance framework
  • Coordinate the delivery of project and operational carbon and climate-related programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability principles into design, planning, and project delivery solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to carbon emissions, climate impact, and sustainability goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to carbon and climate initiatives.
  • Engage with stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and partners to drive sustainability initiatives and foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Preference for Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environment, Science, Sustainability, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in sustainability management, specifically focusing on carbon reduction and climate strategies within a corporate environment
  • Project management skills, communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with Australian environmental and sustainability regulations and international sustainability frameworks.
