Lead Capital Projects Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced project professional to lead complex, high-value capital projects from concept to completion.
About the Role- Manage end-to-end delivery of capital projects, ensuring alignment with our Project Management Framework, timelines, and quality standards;
- Foster stakeholder engagement, working with internal and external partners to influence outcomes and meet strategic, operational, and reputational goals; and
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle - from planning and procurement to construction and commissioning, ensuring smooth transition to operational use and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management and delivery of capital projects;
- Stakeholder engagement and management;
- Financial management, including budget planning and forecasting;
- Contract administration and risk management;
- Team leadership and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and training;
- Extensive experience delivering high-value, high-risk construction projects in complex operational environments;
- Strong financial management skills, including budget planning, forecasting, reporting, and value-for-money assurance;
- Advanced understanding of construction standards, building codes, sustainability frameworks, and contract administration;
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage consultants and contractors, and influence senior stakeholders to achieve project goals;
- Demonstrated experience managing complex project risks, including financial, operational, legal, and reputational exposures.
