Senior English Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated English teacher to join our community.
This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who can inspire students to develop their language and literacy skills, preparing them for academic success and critical thinking.
About the Role- Deliver engaging and rigorous curriculum aligned with QCAA and Christian values.
- Mentor students to enhance their analytical and creative writing abilities.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages intellectual curiosity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and curriculum.
The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and pedagogical practices, experience teaching senior-level English, and understanding of the QCAA senior syllabus and assessment.
The ideal candidate will be fully aligned with the Christian values and beliefs of our school, able to utilise their talents and skills to make a difference in the lives of our students and wider community.
Requirements- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in teaching.
- Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or ability to obtain).
- Experience teaching Year 11 and 12 Senior English.
- Alignment with Christian values, virtues, and beliefs.
- Able to affirm our Statement of Faith.
- Able to comply with policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements.
- Able to work collaboratively with all members of the community.
- Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities.
- Licence to work in Australia.
