Senior English Teacher

A senior English teacher is needed to instruct students in literature and language skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching high school English and be able to create engaging lessons that promote critical thinking.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of senior-level English students.
- Mentor students to improve their writing and analytical skills.
- Establish a positive classroom environment that fosters intellectual curiosity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and departmental curriculum.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in teaching.
- Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or ability to obtain).
- Experience teaching Year 11 and 12 Senior English.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Curriculum and pedagogical practice.
- Alignment with Christian values and beliefs.
- Ability to work with all members of the college community.
- Willingness to assist in extracurricular activities.
- Legally permitted to work in Australia.
