We are seeking an accomplished educator to deliver a rigorous English curriculum and foster a love of literature in our students.
About the Role- Teach engaging lessons that align with QCAA standards and Christian values, promoting academic success and critical thinking.
- Mentor students to develop their analytical and creative writing skills, preparing them for university and beyond.
- Create a classroom environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and collaboration.
- Work with colleagues to enhance the department's curriculum and teaching strategies, driving excellence in education.
- A Bachelor of Education or related tertiary qualification.
- Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or the ability to obtain).
- Experience teaching Senior English at Year 11 and 12 levels.
- A deep understanding of and commitment to Christian values and beliefs.
- The ability to affirm the school's Statement of Faith.
- A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and support the school community.
