As a key member of the sales team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate sales estimates and quotes for the product range, while managing tender requests and ensuring a consistent, unified approach to all pricing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Accurate Sales Estimates and Quotes: Collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure estimates are completed within required timelines, and provide accurate sales estimates and quotes for the product range.
  • Interpret Construction Plans and Drawings: Interpret construction plans and drawings to meet customer requirements, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage Tender Requests: Manage and collate incoming tender requests across SE QLD, ensuring consistent and accurate pricing, and log and track tenders in BCI.
  • Support the Sales Team: Support the Sales Team with administrative tasks, ensure efficient data recording, and provide monthly reports to the State Sales Manager.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Proven Experience in Sales Estimating: Proven experience in a sales estimating role, preferably within the Construction or Civil Engineering industries.
  • Strong Understanding of Construction Processes: Strong understanding of construction processes, plan interpretation, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Excellent Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Software Packages: Proficiency in software packages such as Pronto and Autocad, with strong MS Office skills.
  • Exceptional Communication and Negotiation Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
  • Estimating Software Proficiency: Competent in the use of estimating software and reporting tools.
  • Physical Fitness: Physical fitness to perform the duties required, including manual handling and site inspections.
  • Ability to Travel: Ability to travel between sites as needed.
