Job Role Overview

The Hotel Duty Manager is responsible for leading the operational management of a hospitality venue, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily hotel operations, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with company policies, Liquor Act, Gaming Machines Act, and government regulations.
  • Accurately completing cash reconciliations in a timely manner.
  • Providing clear direction to staff, promoting a harmonious team environment, and ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Proactively managing events and implementing marketing ideas to drive revenue growth.

A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of gaming and TAB facilities, excellent communication skills, and a strong customer service focus. The ideal candidate will be professionally presented and groomed at all times, flexible, and available to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required. An Australian National Police Check within the last 3 months is mandatory.

  • Proficiency in food and beverage management in a high-calibre hotel venue with a minimum of two years' experience.
  • Strong understanding of gaming and TAB facilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus.
  • Professional presentation and grooming at all times.
