We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Career Transformation Specialist in Port Augusta, SA.

Job Overview

This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will play a key part in helping our customers achieve their career goals and overcome personal challenges. As a Career Transformation Specialist, you will work closely with a diverse range of customers to identify their strengths and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering Coaching Services
    • Providing personalized coaching to help customers develop employability skills, build confidence, and create effective job search strategies.
    • Identifying and addressing potential barriers to employment, such as lack of education or vocational training.
  • Resume Preparation and Job Application Support
    • Assisting customers in creating high-quality resumes and cover letters tailored to their industry and job targets.
    • Supporting customers throughout the job application process, including interview preparation and follow-up.
  • Employment Advocacy and Support
    • Finding suitable employment opportunities that match customers' skills and interests.
    • Advocating on behalf of customers to secure job placements and provide ongoing support during the transition period.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, progress, and outcomes within Workskil Australia's systems.
    • Preparing regular reports on customer engagement, program metrics, and other relevant data to inform service delivery improvements.

  • Excellent Communication Skills

    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other software applications relevant to the role.
    • The ability to maintain accurate records and produce high-quality written reports.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team
    • The capacity to work autonomously while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
    • An understanding of the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication in achieving shared goals.
