Speech Pathology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathology Specialist to join our organization in Townsville. As a Speech Pathology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of individuals with communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.

About Your Role
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
  • Provide therapy sessions to help patients improve their communication skills and overcome challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and reports.
  • Educate and support families and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and evidence-based practices in speech pathology.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Experience working with individuals with communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
