This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading poultry farm as a worker. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare and safety of our birds.

The ideal candidate will have excellent physical fitness, strong communication skills, and a passion for agriculture. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, performing repetitive tasks with high precision and accuracy.

About the Role:

  • Safely and efficiently load or unload birds in accordance with established work practices;
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment;
  • Work closely within various intensive livestock systems;
  • Perform other tasks as directed, including shed cleaning or gardening duties;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, and pushing trolleys;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and accuracy;
  • Own transport to attend various farm sites within a 20 km radius of Millmerran;
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills;
  • Genuine care and concern for animal welfare;
  • Ability to work in dirty or dusty environments, or work outside in all types of weather;
