Senior Credit Risk Analyst

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Stress Testing and Collective Provisioning Team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in assessing credit risk under various scenarios and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver Enterprise-wide stress tests.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and enhance credit risk stress testing models to support Enterprise-wide stress tests, climate risk stress tests, and ad-hoc stress testing requests.
- Liaise with business managers and owners to understand how stress testing can be embedded in decision-making and portfolio management.
- Present and explain stress testing results to relevant committees and stakeholders.
- Engage with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Demonstrated credit risk analysis and credit risk modeling experience in a bank with responsibility for key duties.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel and SQL).
- Experience in model development with proficiency in SAS.
- Ability to draft high-quality technical reports and documentation, and effectively present complex information to non-technical people.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Degree in an area with significant economics and math/statistical content (e.g., Engineering, Operations Research, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, Science, or similar areas supported by undergraduate or postgraduate Economic studies).
- A permanent full-time position with flexible work options, including a hybrid model of minimum two days per week based out of our Melbourne, Adelaide, Bendigo, Ballarat, Brisbane, or Sydney corporate office.
