Senior Credit Risk Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join our Underwriting team at Zip Co.
As a key interface with internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for assessing credit applications, analysing data to determine creditworthiness, and driving customer acquisition and retention.
With a focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences and ensuring compliance with credit policies, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with world-class technology platforms and comprehensive data.
Responsibilities- Credit Application Assessment: Evaluate credit applications within our credit policy guidelines, ensuring timely and accurate decision-making.
- Data Analysis: Analyse application data to determine creditworthiness and approval amounts, leveraging your expertise in credit risk and lending.
- Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with customers, delivering exceptional service and driving customer acquisition and retention.
- Collaboration and Risk Management: Work closely with the Customer Service & Risk teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with credit policies and regulations.
- Minimum 12 months' experience in credit risk or lending, preferably in the customer credit or banking sectors.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of credit risk and lending principles.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Established track record of meeting targets and KPIs, with a strong commitment to quality and compliance.
