We are seeking an experienced Plant Administrator to join our team on the North East Link project. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the plant team, ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and documentation
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports
- Develop and implement effective filing and archiving systems
- Provide administrative support to the plant team, including diary management and scheduling
- Assist with procurement, accounts, and invoicing
- Coordinate travel and logistics arrangements
- Support the maintenance of plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with project and Australian Safety Standards
- Plan and coordinate plant maintenance activities to improve plant reliability
- Order and maintain stock of stationery and parts
- Process purchase orders, delivery confirmations, and invoices
- Assist plant engineers and foremen with day-to-day activities
- Manage insurance and warranty claims
- Relevant word processing and secretarial qualifications and/or training
- Minimum 5 years experience in administration, preferably in a construction environment
- Advanced Microsoft skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
