Sensing Expertise Developer

The role involves collaborating with experts in quantum sensing to deliver novel navigation solutions for pressing challenges in maritime and aeronautical positioning and navigation.
- Develop new navigation algorithms, sensor fusion strategies, and modeling capability for different navigation scenarios, including those involving unaided dead reckoning and position fixing via gravitational and magnetic map-matching;
- Translate quantum sensor performance into capabilities that address current and prospective navigation end-users and customers' needs (and similarly, identify quantum sensor requirements and concepts of operation for a given navigation application);
- Use data analytics to translate quantum sensor data streams into capabilities that meet pressing challenges for current and prospective end-users and customers;
- Work closely with other Research and Engineering teams to deploy and validate developed algorithms and sensing solutions on real quantum sensing hardware;
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related discipline;
- Experience in navigation theory, numerical navigation modeling (e.g. navigation system modeling, navigation signal processing, navigation fusion for alternative navigation systems, quantum sensing for navigation), and/or real-time state tracking and estimation;
