Life Insurance Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Life Insurance Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time permanent role with flexible work arrangements.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an insurance portfolio of clients across Life Insurance, with a focus on growing existing business through internal and external new business prospecting.
  • They will engage and negotiate with Life Insurance markets, utilising data and analytics to provide insights to clients and support marketing strategies.
  • This individual will design and execute service plans to deliver superior client outcomes and align with client needs.
  • They will facilitate strategic claim reviews to ensure the best outcomes for all parties.
  • This role requires developing solutions to meet client needs, resulting in improved client outcomes and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage an insurance portfolio of clients across Life Insurance.
  2. Engage and negotiate with Life Insurance markets.
  3. Design and execute service plans.
  4. Facilitate strategic claim reviews.
  5. Develop solutions to meet client needs.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in group risk for insurers or consulting/broking company or rehabilitation firm.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
  • An extensive knowledge of Group Risk programs, including legislative requirements.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple consulting engagements for diverse clients.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and in-house designed databases.
