Our Mission:We at Elastic are expanding our business and are looking for a motivated, customer-centric New Business Sales Representative. As a New Business Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving the acquisition of new public sector clients, expanding our customer base, and promoting our world-class search and data solutions to organizations that are at the heart of making a difference in society.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential public sector customers in target markets using a variety of prospecting methods (cold calls, emails, social selling, etc.).
- Sales Presentations: Engage with key decision-makers in government, education, and nonprofit sectors to demonstrate the value of our products and solutions.
- Consultative Selling: Understand the unique needs of prospective clients in the public sector and offer tailored solutions that address their pain points.
- Deal Closure: Drive the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, Solution Architects and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless sales experience and foster long-term customer relationships.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs to drive growth for Elastic.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up to date on public sector trends, industry regulations, and competitors to position us as a leader in the space.
