Client Services Officer Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Client Services Officer to support a team of financial advisers in delivering exceptional client experiences.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide comprehensive support to financial advisers, ensuring seamless delivery of advice and services to clients.
    • Manage compliance processes, including OFA and annual agreements, to maintain high standards of regulatory adherence.
    • Implement advice and manage client relationships, leveraging expertise in Xplan to optimize database management.
    • Complete investment portfolio reconciliations and manage projects, such as bulk client updates and communications, with attention to detail and efficiency.
    • Liaise with offshore administrative teams to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.

About the Role:

  • This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a CSO/financial planning support role, preferably with relevant degree-level qualifications.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of various areas of financial advice, including superannuation, personal insurance, investments, and retirement planning.
  • Experience with FDS and fee agreement processes, as well as completing implementation of advice, is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working with outsourced administrative staff will be an asset.
