We are working with a great accounting firm in Brisbane in search for a Client Service Officer is responsible for providing administrative and client support to the firm's clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of client services administration, tax compliance obligations, and building professional relationships. The position will also require the ability to assist with corporate secretarial duties with ASIC, annual reviews, and liaise with the Australian Taxation Office when required.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to clients, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments
  • Prepare and maintain client files and records
  • Assist with tax compliance obligations, including preparing and filing tax returns
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and external advisers
  • Assist with corporate secretarial duties with ASIC, including preparing and filing annual returns
  • Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office when required
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a client services role working in a professional services accounting firm
  • Strong understanding of client services administration, tax compliance obligations, and building professional relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
