Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Asphalt Technician. You will be responsible for preparing pavement for the laying of asphalt, handling hot and/or cold mix, cleaning and preparing job sites, using hand tools, loading and unloading equipment, maintaining work equipment, directing traffic, operating MR trucks or Flocon machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing pavement for the laying of asphalt.
  • Handling hot and/or cold mix.
  • Cleaning and preparing job sites.
  • Using hand tools.
  • Loading and unloading equipment.
  • Maintaining work equipment.
  • Directing traffic.
  • Operating MR trucks or Flocon machines.
Requirements:
  • A reliable vehicle.
  • A White Card.
  • A Traffic Control Licence.
  • An MR or HR licence (essential).
  • Comfort with heavy lifting.
  • Ability to work outdoors.
  • Prior experience in asphalting or concreting (mandatory).
