Electrical Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:
As an Electrical Infrastructure Specialist, you will be part of a national multi-disciplinary team at WSP Australia's Water Utilities team. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with project stakeholders, leading electrical engineering design development on infrastructure projects, producing technical documentation, conducting field and desktop investigations, preparing detailed documentation, applying technical and commercial acumen, and leveraging safety knowledge.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and vendors to achieve successful project outcomes
- Lead electrical engineering design development for infrastructure projects
- Produce high-quality technical documentation for complex information
- Conduct field and desktop investigations related to electrical infrastructure
- Prepare detailed documentation and specification requirements for electrical components
- Apply technical and commercial acumen to drive project success
- Leverage expertise in safety principles, including protection, arc flash, earthing, hazardous areas, and machine safety
- Design and review electrical schematics, including single line diagrams, starter schematics, and loop diagrams
About You:
We are looking for experienced Electrical Engineers with a proven track record in designing and delivering projects in the Water, Mining, Industrial, or Energy sectors. You should have experience working with PTW (Power Tools for Windows) and HV electrical design, as well as expertise in LV/ELV electrical design. You must enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and engaging with clients to provide electrical engineering solutions that meet their requirements.
