Geriatric Medicine Registrar Position

We are seeking an experienced Geriatric Medicine specialist to lead clinical research activities and publish in recognised professional journals.

This role involves conducting regular ward rounds, attending multidisciplinary team meetings, ambulatory clinics, and participating in the unit training and education program. The successful applicant will possess Specialist qualifications (FRACP) and be registered with AHPRA as a medical practitioner.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular ward rounds
  • Attending multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Participating in the unit training and education program
  • Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in leading clinical research activities, publishing in recognised professional journals, and possessing Specialist qualifications (FRACP). They must also be registered with AHPRA as a medical practitioner.

Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent registration with AHPRA
  • Specialist qualifications (FRACP)
  • Significant experience in Geriatric Medicine
