Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to deliver high-quality video content across multiple platforms.

Reporting to the AV & Video Production Manager, you will be responsible for filming, editing and managing equipment for daily shows, presentations and special events.

This is a versatile position where you will manage audio-visual equipment and systems including live audio setup, installation and maintenance.

  1. Pre-production, filming and post-production editing for YouTube episodes ensuring brand compliance and adherence to policies.
  2. Managing audio-visual requirements for social media, television, media, advertising and internal content.
  3. Voice-over, field and location recording, audio mixing and mastering.
  4. Script editing to meet project requirements.
  5. Operating audio equipment and systems, including live audio setup and installation.
  6. Maintaining audio-visual equipment including live audio systems, wireless frequency management and sound vision recording equipment.
  7. Facilitating live streamed events such as zoo event days, weddings, proposals and live shows.
  8. Repairing and maintaining zoo equipment including repairs of AV and electrical gear, fixed PA systems and cameras.
  9. Designing and operating sound and vision recording and production equipment.
  10. Troubleshooting issues with audio and music systems, applying knowledge to unique situations.
  11. Learning about production software and hardware.
  12. Executing practical tasks related to AV software used within the department.
  13. Assisting with external inquiries regarding events and equipment.
  14. Participating in training and development programs as requested.
