Job Overview:

The Aquatic Team Lead is responsible for leading a team to develop and implement an effective program for achieving desired outcomes.

  • Lead the development of a comprehensive program that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the aquatic program within established guidelines.
  • Promote the aquatic program and encourage participation in affiliated swimming clubs.
  • Maintain adequate qualifications for the delivered program and ensure all activities are conducted in a safe environment.
  • Monitor swimmer progression and work with the Swimming and Water Safety program to identify talented individuals and encourage participation.
  • Conduct swimming competitions in a safe and controlled manner.

Requirements:

  • Competitive Swimming/Stroke Teacher - Bronze level qualification preferred.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • National Police Check.
  • Previous experience and success in a comparable role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
