Job Description:

This is a newly created role offering an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Employee Relations. We seek an experienced Employee Relations Business Partner who excels in a fast-paced environment and brings depth of expertise to a growing function.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead enterprise bargaining negotiations and partner with unions to achieve fair and constructive outcomes.
  • Coach people leaders to have courageous conversations that drive performance, accountability, and growth.
  • Advise on complex ER and IR issues, ensuring compliance with labour laws and best practice.
  • Develop strategies, policies, and training programs to strengthen business culture and maturity.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to influence positive change, elevate leadership capability, and support employee engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in ER/IR, ideally in a professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace law, industrial instruments, and bargaining processes.
  • Confidence to work directly with unions and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem solving.
  • Courage, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
