We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychological Support Worker to join our team. As a Clinical Psychology Registrar, you will work closely with young people and their families to identify support needs, develop care plans, and provide high-quality psychosocial assessments and evidence-based interventions.
This is a part-time, fixed-term opportunity until June 2026, working 15 hours per week. You will be based in Shellharbour and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver locally-tailored physical and mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of young people aged 12-25 referred to our service.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each young person.
- Provide evidence-based psychological interventions and therapies to support the mental health and wellbeing of our clients.
- Current AHPRA registration as a registered psychologist with eligibility to work towards clinical endorsement.
- Experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.
- Strong understanding of health and wellbeing needs of young people with mental health and/or substance use problems.
