We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter Fleet Motor to join our team at Vero Insurance. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, sustainability, and profitability of our commercial motor fleet business.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and manage allocated portfolios to achieve budgeted KPIs, including renewal and new business metrics, GWP, and ITR.
- Develop and execute product strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to underwriters and senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate multiline opportunities and drive business growth.
- Coach and mentor underwriters to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Minimum 10 years of commercial insurance experience, with a focus on motor fleet underwriting.
- Strong technical knowledge of underwriting practices, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent market presence and established relationships with intermediaries.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
