About the role
Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) is excited to expand to the Ovens Murray (Wodonga) region. We are seeking a dedicated administrative assistant to join our team. If you're passionate about providing excellent administrative support and making a difference, this is your chance to contribute to our mission in a vibrant regional setting.

In this role, you'll provide a range of legal administrative support to our lawyers, including word processing, data entry, file management, and reception services. You will also assist our legal aid clients with general enquiries and work closely with external legal practitioners and community legal centres to ensure our clients' needs are met.

This role is based at our Wodonga office on Wiradjuri Country.

  • Great communication skills and a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work with people from different backgrounds, including vulnerable or disadvantaged clients.
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn new systems quickly.
