As our Roasting and Quality Manager, you will lead and manage operations to guarantee seamless production scheduling, strong quality control, and preventative maintenance across our roasting equipment.

About the Role

This key position plays a pivotal part in driving continuous improvement in efficiency, sustainability, and product consistency. You will oversee roasting plant performance, champion quality control processes, including tastings, cuppings, grading, and reporting.

  • Lead, train, and coach team members across roasting and quality operations, fostering a collaborative environment that thrives on delivering exceptional results.
  • Own roasting schedules and green bean inventory management at the site, ensuring smooth execution and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and implement effective quality control processes, including sensory evaluations and analytical testing.
  • Drive proactive maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance, minimize downtime, and reduce energy consumption.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including coffee, operations, and commercial teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and excellence, continually seeking opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
