Senior Event Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced event professional to join our dynamic events team at Centennial Homestead, home to over 250 corporate, social and weddings per year.

About the Role

  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled event coordinator to lead the planning and execution of multi-faceted events and weddings.
  • You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing exceptional service and ensuring that every event exceeds their expectations.
  • As part of our team, you will be responsible for conducting site inspections, managing event details, and liaising with suppliers and stakeholders.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
  • Essential experience with corporate clients, with some wedding experience preferred.
  • Pro-activity and a desire to grow the role and the business.
  • Highly organised with impeccable time management skills, capable of managing multiple events simultaneously.
  • A strong focus on customer service.
  • Seamless communication and a dynamic personality.
  • Strong supplier, stakeholder, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and administration acumen in event documentation delivery.
  • Proven success in a solution-oriented approach.
  • Operational acumen in support of exceeding client needs.
  • Industry knowledge and understanding of market trends and competitors.
  • Event Management qualifications would be highly regarded.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and familiarity with Priava CRM software highly desired.
