Insurance Credit Collections Manager

We are seeking an experienced Credit Collections Manager to join our dynamic team in Australia and New Zealand. In this role, you will assist the Credit Control Manager with premium debtor collection and ensure accurate reporting within strict deadlines while maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders.
About the Role
- You will develop and manage collaborative relationships across the end-to-end collections and resolutions process, working closely with teams and business areas to resolve overdue debt issues and escalations.
- Assist the CCM with managing the Accounts Receivable Team, overseeing onshore and offshore collections, account queries, and cash applications performance to meet targets.
- Act as the first point of escalation on matters and provide summary to the CCM when required.
- Provide productive one-on-one catchups with the team, set goals, ensure they work towards their objectives, and handle performance reviews for the local team according to Chubb's provided deadlines.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the local and offshore team regarding core credit control functions for A&NZ.
- Report ledgers and Top Accounts review of overdue debt.
- Act as the first escalation point for the team.
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting to support achieving AR targets.
- E nsure timely clearance of receipts in BAML and non-BAML receivables bank accounts.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable within high-volume ledgers environments in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proficient level of account reconciliations and credit control knowledge and experience.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to accurately review and analyze data.
- Demonstrable strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; confidence and experience in dealing with senior managers and various stakeholders.
