We are seeking a skilled Child Development Therapist to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of children and families. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing early intervention and therapy services that support maximising independence and participation.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting standardized clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need.
- Providing information, education, and support to clients and families.
- Developing functional, routine-based goals with clients and families.
- Providing evidence-based therapy interventions and resources.
- Reviewing progress and setting new priorities in collaboration with clients and families.
- Supporting inclusion and participation in community activities.
- Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and ensuring ongoing communication and support.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA
- A passion for making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful for families.
- The ability to provide counselling and offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
