About the Role

This is a leadership role that involves leading and coaching a high-performing payroll team. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, including processing compliance, tax, and annual reporting. Your goal will be to drive continuous process improvements to optimise systems and payroll strategy.

You will also be responsible for resolving complex payroll issues and providing strategic insights and solutions to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach a high-performing payroll team
  • Manage end-to-end payroll operations, including processing compliance, tax, and annual reporting
  • Drive continuous process improvements to optimise systems and payroll strategy
  • Resolve complex payroll issues and provide strategic insights and solutions to key stakeholders
Requirements
  • Experience working in a large matrix organisation
  • At least 6 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on leadership
  • Experience managing large volumes of payroll processing
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial data to leadership

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $210,000 per annum, plus benefits. The successful candidate will have access to flexible working arrangements, leave loading benefits, and opportunities for career progression and development.
