Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Officer to join our team at Boral North America. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for salaried employees.

About the Role

  • Conduct all payroll-related activities in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all ethical, internal policies, and legislative guidelines.
  • Manage daily, monthly, and yearly payroll functions, including coordination of payroll reporting, month-end processing, payroll system checks, administration, and process compliance for superannuation and Payment Summary preparation and distribution.
  • Process annual remuneration reviews for Boral, including liaising with the Group Remuneration Manager to ensure accuracy in the Remuneration Review program.
  • Provide assistance with Workers Compensation processing and payments, including reconciliation and liaison with Finance to streamline and reconcile.
  • Assist and cross-train team members as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated payroll experience within a large, multi-site business as a senior team member.
  • Exposure to processing high-volume, complex payrolls.
  • Experience with Chris21 and MS Office Suite is essential.
  • Experience with managing data, set up, administration, and process management for annual remuneration review processes for salaried employees, including salary packaging and incentive payments.
  • Experience managing payroll improvement or similar projects to deliver reduced processing costs and improved user service experience.
