Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to oversee a portfolio of 9 neighbourhood centres with a combined gross leasable area of circa 43,000 square metres and 147 tenants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment with proper occupational health and safety protocols, IT systems, and equipment for staff and contractors.
  • Prepare documentation in accordance with leasing policy requirements.
  • Collect all tenant payments by due dates, including rent, outgoings, turnover rental, promotion levies, and electricity charges.
  • Monitor and aggressively reduce arrears; provide required reporting to clients and colleagues.
  • Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and client reporting within set timeframes.
  • Stay current with relevant property legislation and liaise with solicitors on documentation.
  • Manage ongoing fit-out upgrade programs and support tenant fit-out works.
  • Maintain regular council contact and monitor development applications affecting the centre, advising the portfolio team and client with recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in property management, preferably in a similar role or industry sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
