About This Role:

As a Home Care Worker, you will provide care and support to customers in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and remain living in their own homes for longer.

">

Your Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Delivering person-centred care to enhance the lives of customers within their own homes">
  • Evaluating customer needs, supporting them with daily living activities and encouraging them to make informed choices">
  • Tasks may include but are not limited to:">
    • ">
    • Personal care: assisting with toileting, bathing, showering, oral hygiene and other personal hygiene needs">
    • Meal Preparation: cooking, food preparation and meal planning">
    • Transportation: transporting customers to medical appointments, social events, shopping and other outings as required">
    • Social Support: conducting welfare checks, fostering meaningful connections, offering empathetic companionship and maintaining connections to the community">
    • Domestic Assistance: duties such as cleaning, laundry, general housekeeping, dusting, washing dishes, cleaning windows, cleaning carpets, making beds and basic home maintenance">

  • An enthusiastic and motivated team member who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our customers">
  • A driver's license and access to a fully registered and insured vehicle">
  • Certification in First Aid including CPR">
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent (desired but not essential)">
  • NDISWC and WWCC (or willingness to obtain)">
  • Experience in using technology such as smartphones and computer programs">
